I have been noticing more and more garbage accumulating around Marilla reservoir, the highest concentrations around the rear parking lot. I wish i had my camera just to capture it., Come on people, its a beautiful place, please dont crap it up?

You (and Jerry) said it Shadow. We carry garbage bags where we normally walk our dogs, and never come home empty handed.

A good letter to the editor in todays Era about this by a John Kinney. In addition to the garbage left by slob fishermen, i also notice a lot of fishing line, hooks, and lures around the shores. These are extremely dangerous to pets. Many people walk their dogs at this beautiful spot too. I have also seen more boats on this reservoir lately including a couple of paddleboats. I know that Kim Benjamin and the water authority wont put up with too many shenanigans before he closes it to boaters and possibly fishermen. Im sure the Tuna valley trail club isnt thrilled either. You guys had better start policing yourselves or the next thing you might find are 'no fishing' signs.

The dog owners aren't innocent ...I've had to tiptoe around many, many large piles of dog turds out there. Another thing I see on the trails around Bradford are brightly colored bags of dog turds left along the trail. I really don't understand that.
Also, picking up the trash is a noble venture but I don't want to pick up after a bunch of lazy scumbags. But I guess since I'm supporting them financially by paying taxes, I might as well pick up after them like they're my children.
